  • What is a sample itinerary for a retreat?

    Daily Schedule (subject to change):


    Sunrise Yoga meditation session 

    8 am: Breakfast 

    9:00 -12:00 pm: Daily sessions of individual Myofasical release Massage  

    9:00- 12:00: snorkling in the ocean with a guide ( Mangrove tour, Hiking,)  

    12:00: Lunch and personal time or optional Charity offering volunteer time 

    4:30 to 5:30: sunset Yoga Mediation 

    6:00pm: Dinner 


  • What is included in a retreat?

    - Daily sun rise and sunset Yoga 

    - Group Circling to support the integration of healing 

    - 2 Myofasical treatments during the week 

    - Guided Snorkling, hiking to connect us with nature 

    - 3 meals a day with fresh juice and snacks ( Dinner on day 1 and Breakfast on final day) 

    - Restful accommodations at the Ocean Breeze Villa 

    - Additional actives: Kayaking, Stand up Paddle board, Beach trip 

    - Roundtrip airport transfers 

    - Unlimited Filtered water 

    - Daily housekeeping

  • What do I bring?

    1. Natural sunscreen 

    2. Aloe vera 

    3. Natural bug repellent 

    4. Refillable water bottle. 

    5. Rain jacket Oct to Dec 

    6. Hiking shoes or sandals 

    7. Camera 

    8. Flip flops and swim suit of course 

    9. Fitness clothes/ Hiking clothes 

    10. Small flashlight or head lamp with extra batteries. Or your cell phone might  do the trick! 

    11. Beach towel and/or sarong 

    12. You can bring your own Yoga Mat if you like, but we do provide high  quality mats, straps, blocks and other props.  

    13. Personal first-aid kit: Benadryl or allergy anti-itch cream, neosporin or triple  antibiotic cream, tylenol and/or ibuprofen, probiotics 

    14. Health care items and/or feminine products 

    15. Earplugs (in case you have a roommate that snores) 

    16. Eyemask (if you are in a shared room) 

    17. Passport (you need a valid passport for at least 6 months before the  expiration date to enter Roatan Hondrous. No special visa is required.

  • When is the rainy season in Roatán?

    The rainy season in Roatán is from October to January.  There can be several days without rain and lots of sun during this period as well as days with a mix of both.

  • Do you provide beach towels for my use while at the villa?

  • Are there laundry facilities on-site?

    Yes.

  • What about emergencies? Is there medical care?

    Yes, there is a Doctor 5 min away in Oak Ridge. There is also a hospital nearby.

  • Are there sand flies and mosquitoes?

    Certain areas have mosquitoes and sand flies. Some people are more sensitive than others. It is advisable to bring an insect repellant. We are on the side of the island that receives the trade winds so most days there is a breeze and that helps keep the bugs down.
